{road trip} Tasmanian landscapes #2

December 29, 2014

And here are more views of this beautiful National Park. Despite cloudy days, the sun did shine and made the short hike down to Wineglass Bay even more enjoyable. The name of the Bay comes from the time when islanders were killing whales down there, so the water had a red colour because of the blood. It is hard to imagine what took place in the past when you get to the lookout and get to discover this breathtaking view. I have also added my little gem photo of a fern found in the Mount Wellington forest.
