I am a food and lifestyle photographer currently based in Paris after 10 years leaving abroad in Sydney, Luxembourg and London. The love for good and healthy food has always been part of my life. As a child, growing up in France, I was immersed in my mother and grandmother’s kitchens who shared with me their love for fresh products from the farmer’s markets. I remember about our many afternoons baking sessions during summer holidays in Corsica making meringues, sorbets, tarts and all sorts of desserts…I have always had a bit of sweet tooth! Later on I have continued to seek inspiration by attending several Lenôtre amateurs cooking classes in Paris and from time to time I still take a cooking class to discover other cuisines, recently in Bali and Bangkok.

As my father was always travelling for work, I often wanted him to take me with him whenever he could. Nowadays when I travel, you will find me tasting the local food from street markets to trying restaurants with friends and packing back my suitcase with local handmade potteries and ceramics to grow my collection of tableware (especially when I went to Japan – my brother got hooked too!).

I love working with natural day light in my home studio to photograph all the good things I cook to share with friends.

Why “Little berries & co”?

Well my favourite fruit is raspberries and I love berries. So during summer I eat them fresh all the time! Berries are kind of little gems, like encounters with a traditional filo-pastry maker or a ceramist turning new bowls but also the discovery of little “bistrot” or just a stroll at the local farmers’ or flea markets.

For a long time I have been too focused on being successful in my other jobs and forgot the “essentiel”. However I have met great friends in the different countries I lived in or travelled to for work. Many discoveries and enriching experiences. So I am now taking a new direction with this blog by starting adding recipes (new or inspired), chefs and restaurants stories, organic farming, tasting adventures here and there and most importantly preparing a meal with my family (my brother is a great cook too – maybe better than me!) and coffee time (or tea time!) or dinners with friends. Since I have been back in Sydney Paris for a few weeks, I will be also blogging about my new life here in Montmartre.

I shoot & style everything on this blog unless otherwise stated. Therefore, everything on this blog belongs to me and is subject to copyright. Please ask first and email me sandrine.fauconnet@gmail.com, if you want to use an image from this blog.

I hope you enjoy the journey! Bon voyage culinaire!

I have a Nikon D700 and my favorite lenses are the prime lenses 50 mm (f1.4) and 35 mm (f2.0). I also use from time to time my compact Canon G11, more and more for videos. Last but not least, I use my smartphone mainly for Instagram.

Affiliated Links

From time to time, I am using affiliated links in this blog (such as Amazon, The Book Depository), as several times some of you have asked me where I bought some of my kitchen props or cookbooks. So when you click on one of those links, you will end up on the affiliated store. If you buy something in the store during you visit, Littleberriesandco.com will get a small commission which will help finance its hosting and other costs. So if you click there and buy a book or kitchen props, I thank you very much.
